Heartland Region of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc. is one of thirteen regions across the United States and Canada. Heartland Region has 25 chapters; they are located in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Heartland Region joins other EGA Regions in welcoming all stitchers to the Joys of Needlework! Whether through Chapter affiliation or as a Member-At-Large, this is your opportunity to make new friends with stitchers of all skill levels !
Our purpose is to foster the highest standards of excellence in the practice of the art of embroidery

New Chapter Organizing in Southern Illinois
A new chapter is being organized in the area of Carbondale, Illinois and is seeking persons who embroider and those who would like to learn how to embroider. By joining this chapter, you will be rewarded with opportunities to study and learn many types of embroidery and to meet others who share your interest in embroidery.
You would become a member of The Embroiderers' Guild of America. EGA is a national non-profit educational organization dedicated to the study and preservation of the heritage and art of embroidery. EGA maintains an Embroidery Resource Center in Louisville, KY and publishes a quarterly magazine, NeedleArts, for all members .
